Dangerous Curve Art Gallery is hosting a memorial art exhibition for Michael Sungman Cho, an artist who was shot and killed by police officers in La Habra, Calif. on New Year’s Eve. The exhibit is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at the gallery, 1020 E. Fourth Place. This event is supported by the Korean Community Lawyers Association. The award-winning Lodestone Theatre Ensemble presents the world premiere of Nic Cha Kim’s “Trapezoid,” a sci-fi production about a robot who falls in love with its human creator. Performances are held at GTC Burbank, 1111-B West Olive Ave., Burbank. Tickets are $16 and $14 for students and seniors. The UCLA student-run organization Students Promoting Awareness About North Korea (SPAANK) will present “Ignorance is Bliss,” a benefit concert to spread awareness on human rights violations in North Korea. The event, featuring performances by artists such as Far*East Movement and Seriously, aims to raise funds for projects launched by Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) and the North Korean Freedom Coalition. It will take place at 6 p.m. at Ackerman Grand Ballroom on the UCLA campus. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door. For more information, e-mail ucla.spaank@gmail.com.

Korean American Museum presents “Koreatown: Here and Now,” an exhibition of photographs of Los Angeles’ Koreatown. In celebration of Asian Pacific American heritage month, Korean American Community Services (KACS) presents the Ahn Trio Benefit Concert at Northeastern Illinois University.
