Sure, we were a little bummed that Sandra Oh didn’t take home an Emmy for “Grey’s Anatomy” (she was robbed!), but at least one Korean snagged a shiny gold statue. Animator Sang-Jin Kim won an Individual Achievement Emmy for his work on Nickelodeon’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

“‘Avatar’ has a kind of oriental feel, which is familiar to me since I am a Korean,” says the 31-year-old Seoul-based artist, who has previously worked on animated TV shows such as “X-Men” and “Batman.”

“When I won, I felt like I was walking on air.”
