Auditions were held in September and the show will be help at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20 at KCCLA’s Ari Hall, 5505 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.
There will be cash prizes awarded to the top three talents. Admission for the event will be $5.
According to Wikipedia, a haunted house is defined as a building that is a center for supernatural occurrences or paranormal phenomena. A haunted house may contain ghosts, poltergeists or even malevolent entities. This is much different from the haunted houses we know and love to visit during Halloween. With the haunted houses we’re familiar with, getting scared is fun!
KYCC will be hosting its annual haunted house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 21. There will be ghosts, ghouls, goblins and all sorts of scary things our youth groups can think of. There will also be yummy candy for the kids as well.
The haunted house is planned, built, and staffed by KYCC’s high school youth groups. This free community event is designed to entertain elementary-aged children living in the Los Angeles Koreatown area. Last year, more than 300 children visited the haunted house and we look forward to seeing more children this year. If you would like to help with the event or donate candy, please call our offices.
