Los Angeles is a city that constantly rebuilds itself. Old buildings are always being remodeled, demolished and sometimes restored. Old theaters are put out of service from new theaters, and a lot of them end up being demolished or rented out for other types of businesses. The time (before sunrise) and settings of the pictures in my Theater Studies series are to help elaborate that abandonment.

The relationship between humans and the environment has always been of interest to me. I tend to show the stark beauty of environments society does not tend to praise. My aim is to raise the level of consciousness about our interaction with those environments.
