What was really weird were our family

reunions. The Irish side would be drinking all the

liquor and the Korean side would be selling it to them.

Growing up

Korean-Irish was

different. They told us stories like at the end of every

rainbow is a

Pot O’ Kimchi.

For breakfast, we had rice.

But in our rice we had green clovers, blue diamonds and purple horseshoes. They were magically delicious.

Born in Flint, Mich., and raised in Orange, Calif., Ron McGehee has headlined at the World Famous Improv Comedy Clubs and The Comedy Store. Winner of the 2003 “Orange County’s Funniest Person Contest,” McGehee is a producing co-host of “The Family Comedy Countdown,” a national syndicated radio program.
