Seoul Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition
The Korean Cultural Center presents an artistic masterpiece, the Seoul Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition. In this exhibit, 31 artists and a total of 160 art pieces will be displayed at the KCCLA Art Gallery.
The Seoul Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee was established by 25 artists in Seoul to preserve and promote the legacy and heritage of Korean traditional craft art. It has been holding exhibitions throughout the world every year. This traveling exhibit will present more than 30 types of gorgeous art pieces from the most prominent artists from Korea.
This event is hosted by the Seoul Intangible Cultural Heritage and sponsored by KCCLA, the City of Seoul Arts Council of Korea and Korea Foundation.
The exhibition runs from June 22 through July 10, with an opening reception at 8 p.m. on June 22, at the KCCLA Art Gallery.
Korean Garden Fund Raising Exhibition
The purpose of the exhibition, which features renowned Korean ceramic artists, Yeol Woo and Gi Sun Ki, is to raise funds for the creation the Korean Garden in the LA County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. When the Korean Garden is completed, it will be a great addition to broaden and signify highly dignified images and symbols of Korean Culture in the City of Los Angeles.
The exhibition runs from July 13 through July 25, with an opening reception at 6 p.m. on July 13.

Let’s Learn Korean

Korean Cinema
Every Thursday evening, Korean films are screened at the Korean Cultural Center Auditorium on the 3rd floor. Admission is free and open to the public.
KCCLA oversees monthly screening series of Korean and Korean American films with a different theme or program for each week.
