Title sponsor Thomas Pak with Jean Rhee of KCCC.
On a sunny, 80-degree day, KAPS, the Korean American Bar Association (KABA) and the Korean American Health Professional Association (KAHPA) held their 7th annual golf tournament, benefiting the Korean Community Counseling Center.
More than 100 players gathered on June 2 at the Trilogy Golf Course on Redmond Ridge to tee off for a great cause. Including the newcomers, KAHPA, the three Korean American organizations united to fundraise for KCCC, a non-profit group that provides a wide range of services, including translation, pro-bono legal clinics, youth leadership camps, and counseling on issues including domestic violence, alcohol and gambling.
With our great sponsors and the $10,000 donation from our title sponsor, KAPS member Thomas K. Pak, KAPS, KABA and KAHPA were able to raise about $20,000 for KCCC — almost double last year’s goal.
