Photography enables us to gain knowledge of the world in a myriad of ways. They speak the truth, they skew reality, and they enhance our senses to examine our milieu a little more closely. We cannot ignore what we see and how it affects our lifestyle, our relationships and our identities. We must learn how to embrace it and make it our own. Photographs not only present us with an aesthetic to appreciate and glorify, they also allow for an interesting discourse to take place.

My interest lies in furthering the dialogue about images and what they represent in our world. It is my hope that this will bring about change by challenging what we think we know and influencing the actions we take with our newfound knowledge.
