Due to some possible exciting new changes and also some unexpected events, we have decided to reschedule our signature leadership awards gala for Dec. 28. We are considering new ways to take our organization to the next level and decided that it would be in the best interest of KAPS to host the gala on the later date.

The KAPS gala has always been a wonderful opportunity for us to honor the outstanding contributions of the Korean American community in the fields of business, arts, education and community leadership. It’s important to continue recognizing community leaders through our Rocky Kim Pioneer Award and inspiring the next generation through programs such as our future leader scholarships. I’m excited to now announce that the 12th annual gala has taken on the holiday spirit to become the KAPS Winter Ball: A Celebration of Community & Friends.

Thank you to those who have supported us thus far and we look forward to seeing you at the KAPS Winter Ball. We hope to see many faces and explain in more detail the work we’ve done and where we still need help.

For more information please visit www.seattlekaps.org or e-mail us at info@seattlekaps.org.

Best Wishes!

Social Hour

KAPS hosted a general board meeting and social at Seattle’s new TIG Asian Tapas Bar in Pioneer Square. We gave updates on KAPS progress, introduced our members to the newly designed marketing packets and continued to night with fun ice breakers.

KAPS will continue to host board meetings and socials throughout the year, so come and join the fun!

If you would like to know when our social or event is, please visit our website at www.seattlekaps.org or contact social chairs Joe Cha  (joecha@whisperla.com) and Bonnie Kim ( events@seattlekaps.org).
