Single Parents’ Support Group

A support group for single parents has commenced at KAFSC to foster a comfortable place for single parents to share their experiences and resources. The group also meets with professionals to find a healthy balance for themselves and their families.

The group meets on the first and third Mondays of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the KAFSC office. All single parents are welcome! For more information, call Jennifer at (213) 389-6755.

Community Resource Fair

KAFSC participated in the community resource fair on the last day of May at Los Angeles Community Adult School. While the Mariachi Divas entertained the crowd, agencies educated students about health, available services, transportation and employment. Free health screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, scoliosis and STDs were also available.
