Faith leaders and family issues seminar

KAFSC hosted the seminar, “Faith Leaders and Family Issues: For Building Healthy Families,” for Korean-speaking faith leaders on June 16 at the Radisson Wilshire Plaza Hotel. The purpose of the seminar was to educate community faith leaders about today’s family issues, including family violence, relationships, divorce, depressions, substance abuse, suicide and family law. To raise awareness in the community and faith organizations about building healthy families, three speakers lectured about pertinent issues from three different perspectives, ranging from psychological affects of domestic violence on victims and their families to legal issues and rights of victims.
