“Hey Jude” Baby
When Korean-born supercutie Ha Young Wung, nicknamed “Hero,” was just 3, he stood with a full-sized guitar and sang “Hey Jude” by The Beatles. His rendition was adorable and surprisingly accurate (right down to the “Better, better, BETTER, AAAAHHHHH!”).
Today, the pint-sized wonder is out of diapers and on the Korean talent show circuit. According to his YouTube page, Ha, now 5, doesn’t speak any English, but knows the lyrics to 40 Beatles songs.
Only time will tell if he’ll reach the ranks of John and Paul, but with the Internet buzz surrounding him, he’s surely got a ticket to ride. Via www.youtube.com.
Stephen Vs. Rain Dance-Off
The war between Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert and K-pop star Rain for the top spot on the Time 100 poll culminated last month in a dramatic, smoke-filled dance-off. After a street-style duel on “The Colbert Report” set, the rivals proceeded to put their moves to the ultimate test: the Dance Dance Revolution arcade game. Rain’s turbo-charged footwork served him well, and well, Colbert simply got served. Ironically, neither scored the Time.com title. It went to video-game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. South Korean Archers
Koreans have long been impossibly-accurate archers, but now their talents are embedded on the Internet for all to witness. Watch in awe as these Robin Hood-like athletes shoot arrows through apples, eggs and pieces of thread from a 70-meter distance. One even shoots an arrow through an arrow. As for the wow factor, these clips hit the bullseye. Via www.youtube.com and www.metacafe.com.
