When toting the tots to see Disney’s kiddie blockbuster “Kung Fu Panda” this summer, keep those ears open for a familiar voice. Randall Duk Kim (“Anna and the King,” “The Matrix Reloaded”) plays Oogway, a thousand-year-old turtle who invented the mystical martial art.

Kim, who spent most of his career in theater, never felt daunted by Oogway’s age. “I’ve been playing old characters since I was 18,” he says. “They are always fascinating to me.”

Next up: He’s set to be the voice of Grandpa Gohan in “Dragonball,” which comes out next year.

Here are some other animated characters voiced by KAs:

Film: “Land Before Time XXIII: The Wisdom of Friends” (2007)
Character: Doofah, a clumsy yellow-bellied Beipiaosaurus
Voice: Sandra Oh

Film: “Mulan” (1998)
Character: Fa Zhou, Mulan’s wise, yet frail father
Voice: Soon-Tek Oh

Film: “The Rugrats Movie” (1998)
Character: Lt. Klavin, an interrogating police woman
Voice: Margaret Cho
