When toting the tots to see Disney’s kiddie blockbuster “Kung Fu Panda” this summer, keep those ears open for a familiar voice. Randall Duk Kim (“Anna and the King,” “The Matrix Reloaded”) plays Oogway, a thousand-year-old turtle who invented the mystical martial art.
Kim, who spent most of his career in theater, never felt daunted by Oogway’s age. “I’ve been playing old characters since I was 18,” he says. “They are always fascinating to me.”
Next up: He’s set to be the voice of Grandpa Gohan in “Dragonball,” which comes out next year.
