Disaster Preparedness Puppet Show
KAFSC collaborated with the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles to teach the kids in our Readiness for School program how to prepare for an earthquake. The disaster preparedness presentation teaches the major steps for preparing for a disaster with a puppet show called “Elmo and the Earthquake.” AmeriCorp member Adrian and his team engaged the preschool students in an introduction to what an earthquake is and performed a short skit and song with their Sesame Street friends.
Preschool students learn about disaster preparedness.
